Going into all the world

This world is astounding. When you sit back and think about it, the place we live is hard to grasp with human intellect. Nearly 9 billion people, all with their own unique experiences, life views, hurts, joys, hopes, dreams, and nightmares.
Nobody sees this world from the same perspective as someone else. Even the closest of friends or brothers will not agree about everything. They may not even agree about most things. Each person is shaped by so many factors, and uniquely designed.
The earth is fascinating. The seas teem with so much life that scientists say we haven't even begun to number all of the creatures who live down there. Each day is painted with a sunrise unlike any other since the dawn of creation, and each sunset is equally unique. No two snowflakes ever look the same under a microscope.
When you travel over continents, through different countries, and see the natural wonders of the world, every experience draws distinctive emotions out of the human heart. Each person experiences each place differently. The physical world, and all of the people in it, is too much to comprehend.
But there is also a spirit world right here too. We don't see it with our human eyes, but it is as close as the very breath you just took.
When Jesus came to earth, He brought heaven into this physical world. He invaded the natural with the supernatural. His death and resurrection gave us access to that same power. The same spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead now lives in the believer.
What did Jesus say to do with that power?
In the last chapter of the gospel of Mark, Jesus made our mission as clear as day:
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved."
Even though the world is vast, the people numerous, and the possibilities endless, we follow a simple gospel. Jesus said to GO. He wants His message spread everywhere.
He said go, so we will go... into all the world.
